Quiet reassurance

Your activity is the check-in.

QuietOK watches for normal activity during the hours you choose. When activity goes quiet, it asks you first — and only emails your Trusted People if you don’t respond.

Monitoring quietly

All Good

Normal activity is the check-in. No daily tap required.

How it works

Quiet when everything is normal.

QuietOK is designed to stay out of the way. Recent step activity from your iPhone — or Apple Watch when available — is used to confirm normal activity automatically. Apple Watch is not required.

1

Normal activity checks you in

During your Active Hours, recent step activity can confirm normal activity automatically and reset the no-activity timer.

2

QuietOK asks you first

If the no-activity interval is reached, QuietOK asks “Everything OK?” and gives you time to respond.

3

Trusted People are notified

If you don’t respond, QuietOK’s server sends a check-in email to the Trusted People you selected.

No location tracking. No heart-rate monitoring. Apple Watch optional.
Privacy by design

We built QuietOK to know less.

The app uses only the information needed to provide the check-in service. Raw HealthKit step samples stay on your device.

QuietOK does

  • Read recent HealthKit step activity with your permission.
  • Store your chosen Trusted People and current check-in schedule so server backup can work.
  • Use notifications to ask you to respond before Trusted People are emailed.
  • Let you delete your QuietOK server data directly from the app.

QuietOK does not:

  • Track your location.
  • Read your heart rate.
  • Upload raw step counts or raw HealthKit samples to our servers.
  • Use advertising trackers or sell your personal or HealthKit data.
Common questions

Simple by design.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. QuietOK can use step activity from your iPhone. If Apple Watch step activity is available through HealthKit, QuietOK can use that too.

Does QuietOK track my location?

No. QuietOK does not request location permission and does not use location to provide check-ins.

What happens overnight?

You set Active Hours. Quiet Hours do not accumulate inactivity, and the no-activity timer starts fresh when the next Active Hours period begins.

What does a Trusted Person receive?

If QuietOK cannot confirm expected activity and you do not respond to the check-in, Trusted People receive an email asking them to check on you. If you later tap “I’M OK,” QuietOK can send an all-clear.

Is there a subscription?

No. Buy QuietOK once and use it without a recurring subscription.

Important: QuietOK is a reassurance and check-in tool. It is not an emergency response service, medical device, fall detector, or substitute for calling emergency services.
